The Alignment Pod

A Place to do the Relational Work

A small group of individuals committed to showing up with honesty, courageous action, and a genuine desire to help each other find their way out of the river of distress and back to the shore.

What is a Pod?

A pod is not a therapy group. It is not a support group in the traditional sense. It is something closer to a team of swimmers; a small number of people who have agreed, for the duration of our time together, to help each other navigate the river.

Connection is both the means and the end. In this pod you practice what you came here to learn by actually doing it, with people who care enough to tell you the truth.

Inside the pod you will take on what we call relational projects: specific, deliberate actions to repair, improve, or realign your relationships that matter most. You will bring them here, work through them, and return to us with what happened. In time the evidence accumulates.  What once felt impossible begins to feel like something you can handle.

The objective of this work is alignment; closing the gap between how you are actually living and how you were designed to live. The smaller that gap, the calmer your internal world becomes. Relational projects are how that is practiced and integrated.

What Happens in a Pod?

Each session is a fluid, open forum. No rigid agenda. No prescribed topics. You bring what is alive for you: the conversation you have been avoiding, the boundary you haven't set, the truth you haven't spoken. The group witnesses it with you. People see your patterns when you cannot and, with your permission, reflect back what they observe. This feedback is honest and given in the context of genuine care.  It is not criticism.  Heartfelt feedback is one of the most useful things one person can offer another. In time, showing up here becomes practice which empowers showing up everywhere else.

How it is Held

No advice is offered unless you have explicitly asked for it. No one fixes, prescribes, or judges. What is shared here stays here. The space is kept small, 6 to 10 people, so that real contact is possible rather than performance. Drawing on twenty years of group work and coaching, Ross facilitates each session.  The pod meets virtually on Zoom.  It is accessible regardless of where in the world you are.

This Might Be For You If

You know what you need to do and keep not doing it. You have tried therapy, self-help, or willpower and the same patterns keep returning. You have a relationship that is quietly costing you something important and you are ready to stop waiting for the right moment. Or…  you simply want to be in a room with people who are doing honest work on themselves and who will give you the straight goods when you ask for it.

The Role of Feedback

Most people who spend years in painful relational patterns have never received honest feedback.  It’s not because no one noticed, no one cared enough, or felt safe enough to say so.  It’s because it was either not invited or the audience didn’t know how to constructively give it.

The pod changes that. With your permission, members reflect back what they observe and where the gap is between what you intend to communicate and what actually lands. For example, what fear sounds like when it speaks in your voice or where something old is running the show and presenting itself as wisdom.

Nothing here is offered without invitation. You set the terms of your own engagement.  The more that you let yourself be seen, the more useful the pod becomes.

Common Questions

Do I need to have read anything beforehand?

No. The framework that underpins this work will be introduced as you go. You bring yourself. That is enough to begin.

What if I am not a talker?

You are not required to perform or fill space. The pod meets you where you are. Some of the most significant growth in this kind of work happens in people who say very little and show up with everything they have.

What commitment is involved?

This is ongoing work, not a fixed-term program. The pod functions best when members show up consistently. That said, you are an adult, you decide what is right for you.

Is this therapy?

No. Ross is a life coach and group facilitator, not a therapist. The pod is a relational container for growth work. However, the impact of these groups can be transformative.
