The Drama Of Relating
Many of your emotional wounds likely originated in your earliest relationships. The patterning created repeats in your subsequent relationships, which continues until a part of you gives a little tap on the shoulder and says, "Hey! This dynamic isn't working; something needs to change." This awareness is likely what brought you here to this offering. In order to heal your patterning, you first need to take some time to individuate. To get to know yourself, perhaps for the first time. When you focus outwardly on the other person you are relating with to get your needs met, you are slowly losing yourself, which is a belief that what you need can only come from outside of yourself. You then blame the other person who isn't meeting your needs for the problems in the relationship, which leads to what can feel like a never-ending struggle.
The need for acceptance & connection, comes at the cost of not being yourself." ~ Gabor Matė
The Shift From Scared to Sacred
Unfortunately, being co-dependent in relationships may feel normal until awareness shifts this belief. Most relating is rooted in fear of disconnection or the loss of love. If you believe love and connection can only come from outside yourself, then you are setting yourself up for upset. You may be scared to take a step for yourself as it might create the very loss you fear. It may seem counterintuitive to individuate within a relationship to shift the dynamic, yet this is likely what needs to happen. What do I need to do to get more love from you? Becomes; "How do I source love from within"? What parts of myself do I need to hide? Becomes; "What parts of myself do I allow to shine"? This re-connection with yourself is a journey towards the sacred, a re-connection with spirit, and soul, an opportunity to create a practice that nurtures the you who knows. To be aligned with your soul and connected with your inner voice is a precious gift. With this shift, your relationships transform from disconnection and struggle to conscious connection and inner peace. The sacred is rooted in self-worth, confidence, self-care, self-love, and clear purpose.
Healing is gaining the freedom to create new meanings for our present experiences and let go of the meaning of our early experiences when we didn't have a choice." ~ Gabor Matė
It's Time To Re-Imagine How To Heal Relationally
The quote above suggests we can rewrite our present experiences to free us from our past experiences. This rewrite can happen partially on your own with contemplation and pause. However, the best way to gain awareness is to heal through the reflection of others. Bottom line; we heal in relationship with others. By connecting with others in a group setting, you get to see yourself in the reflection of others through witnessing their experience. You also get to dive deeper and take responsibility for what is happening within you. This experience allows for the creation of new neural pathways and new stories of safety.
Together we will co-create a safe space to deepen your connection with yourself and others. Groups can feel intimidating and be a place to experience deep connection and learning, which can quickly outweigh your fears and reservations. This offering will be in person and facilitated by Ross Tayler, who brings over 24 years of lived experiences to this healing work and thousands of hours facilitating groups.
**In case the question is arising for you. This workshop is about taking time for you and connecting to you. If you and your partner want to attend together that would be totally fine and supportive. I do feel the seed of a future offering where couples can work on their relationship together.

The Power of One in Relationships
There is a common assumption when beginning this kind of work that both partners need to be involved in the process. This is a misconception that often exacerbates even more tension in the relationship. The fact is that it only takes one person to transform a relationship. One aspect of karma is that although it binds two people together, the initial deep transformation work is often only tackled by one partner. If the teaching is correctly followed and embodied, then the other partner experiences a simultaneous opening. ~ Richard Rudd - The Gene Keys

Caterpillar to Butterfly
The journey from caterpillar to butterfly is the perfect metaphor for the journey we will co-create and mirrors the Hero's Journey. Inside of the chrysalis, the caterpillar actually dissolves into organic ooze. Cells, which are aptly called “Imaginal Cells,” begin to emerge. This is what starts the process of creating a new form and structure. This shows us that we can literally become what we imagine. All the items listed below can be the source of our suffering and the source of our emergence as a metaphorical butterfly.
Testimonial Ross sets up a clear, healthy, supportive environment for us to explore and learn. I felt inspired and energized throughout the process. I am deeply grateful." ~ D.D.
