A blend of elder, life coach, and guide without letters behind my name. If letters were there, they would be SOL (School of Life.)
My passion is to skillfully help people see themselves and their unconscious patterns clearly so that they can learn to embody self-acceptance and self-care. I bring to our sessions a diverse toolkit with compassionate wisdom, unconditional love, and fierce honesty. Fierce honesty may sound harsh but it is rooted in love and care. The goal is for people to feel deeply seen, accepted and supported while we work together.
My own personal growth journey began in 1999 and is ongoing. It included the completion of life coach training in 2006.
I work with individuals and groups using a trauma informed approach.

A lifelong fascination with the human experience and easing it for others.
In addition to relationship guidance, I use a spiritual tool called Human Design. These combine to guide clients to live their best lives. Well over 1,000 hours in individual sessions and over 2,500 hours while facilitating groups have accrued since 2006.
My goal is creating safety for people to share and learn about themselves. Clients are guided to better understand their nervous system, attachment style, relationship patterns, history and current reality. This all helps us to context and design aligned actions which move toward their goals and dreams. |
"The future creates the present." This quote, from a source unknown, prompted reviewing my life and finding gratitude for every struggle. That perspective was not always within reach when, "in the thick of it." Highly sensitive to my environment since childhood, I was literally able to feel all of the energies in my surroundings. Being a loner made finding friends and relating to the world around me difficult. Anxiety and bouts of depression during adulthood were not uncommon. In hindsight, questing to calm life's noise and inner struggles was a deep desire to be unapologetically me.
Divorce in 1999 stirred something within and created an opportunity to connect to deeper parts of myself. My personal growth journey and greater awareness began. The inner voice's whisper could no longer be ignored. Years which followed provided many wonderful experiences, tests and challenges. Each one brought a deepening sense of inner strength, understanding and meaning. Along the way a brand new path formed and the re-creation of my life began. This journey continues, stripping away life's layers, while passionately committed to helping others do the same.
I have over 27 years of team leadership experience in the food service industry. This is well over 44,000 hours of working with, learning about and coaching people individually and in groups. I have an intrinsic passion for people and love championing the positive changes we can make in our personal and professional lives when motivated by our unique values. To support this more fully, in 2006 I graduated from one of North America's best Life Coaching programs at the Co-Active Training Institute.
In April of 2014 a men's initiation weekend run by the Mankind Project called the New Warrior Training Adventure was attended. It powerfully awakened something within that had long been dormant: a strengthened connection to nature, my mission and purpose. Shortly thereafter I began offering weekly mens' circles in Squamish, BC, facilitating these gatherings for 7 years before relocating to this province's Interior.
In recent years I have held positions as Support Staff, Group Facilitator and Life Coach at the Paradise Valley Healing Center near Squamish, BC. These roles were in perfect alignment with my values and purpose, providing opportunities to learn and share my gifts. I have also worked as the Addiction Program/Group Facilitator at iRecover Addiction Treatment Center in the Okanagan.
I am a past board member of the Helping Hands Society in Squamish and volunteered for the RCMP as a Citizen on Patrol and an Auxiliary Constable. I am also a Restorative Justice facilitator and past Chairperson for the Sea to Sky Restorative Justice Society.
These and many more rich life experiences provide much to draw upon while compassionately supporting others.

Relationships can hurt us and relationships can heal us.
