I have had a lifelong fascination with the human experience and making that easier for others!

I am Ross Tayler, and I am an Intuitive Counsellor and I use Human Design and Gene Keys as spiritual tools to guide this work. I have been working with clients individually and in groups since 2006 and during that time I have accrued well over 1000 hrs in individual sessions and over 2500 hours facilitating groups.
My goal, is to create a safe place for you to share and learn about yourself. I will teach you about your nervous system, support you to connect with your attachment style, and relationship patterns. We will also work together to gain an understanding of your history. At the same time, we will design aligned actions that move you towards your goals and dreams.
There is a quote I love that was shared by one of my teachers. "The future creates the present" What I take from that quote is that in this moment, I can look back over my life and be grateful for every single struggle I have had. Yet, when I was "in the thick of it", it was a lot more difficult to be in a positive perspective. I now draw upon all my life experience when supporting clients and realize that my quest to remove the noise and inner struggle from my life was really a deep desire to be unapologetically me. From childhood onward, I was very sensitive to my environment and could literally feel all the energy in my surroundings. I was quite a loner, struggled to make friends and had a really hard time relating to the world around me. As and adult I experienced a lot of anxiety and had bouts of depression.
My journey of personal growth and awareness began in 1999 when I got divorced. This experience, stirred something within me and created the opportunity to connect to a deeper part of myself. I could no longer ignore the voice that whispered. The years that followed provided many wonderful experiences, tests and challenges. Each experience brought me a deeper sense of inner strength, understanding and meaning. Along the way, I created a brand new path and began to re-create my life.
This journey continues to be about stripping away the layers and meeting myself again for the very first time. I have over 27 years of experience leading teams in the food service industry, which is well over 44,000 hours of leading, learning about and coaching people. I have an intrinsic passion for people and and I love witnessing the change that people can make in their lives and at work, when they are motivated by their values. In late 2006 I further invested in my coach training and signed up for a training course with the Co-Active Training Institute, one of the top coach training programs in North America. My career and life experiences give me much to draw from while sharing my passion.
In April of 2014 I attended the "New Warrior Training Adventure" which is a Men's initiation weekend that is run by the Mankind Project. This powerful weekend awakened something within me that had long been dormant. My connection to nature strengthened and my mission and purpose emerged. Shortly after this I started to offer a weekly men's circle in Squamish which I facilitated for 7 years before moving to the Okanagan.
In recent years I held positions as Support Staff, Group Facilitator and Life Coach at the Chopra Addiction and Wellness Center outside of Squamish, which was a perfect alignment with my values and purpose and gave me the opportunity to learn and share my gifts. I also worked as the Addiction Program Facilitator at iRecover Addiction Treatment Center in the Okanagan.
I am a past board member of the Helping Hands Society in Squamish. Volunteered for the RCMP as a Citizen on Patrol and as an Auxiliary Constable. I am a Restorative Justice facilitator and I am a past Chairperson for the Sea to Sky Restorative Justice Society.

As I do this work, I am guided by my mission:
I co-create a world that embodies unconditional love and self-acceptance.
I co-create a world that embodies unconditional love and self-acceptance.
"You enter the forest at the darkest point, where there is no path. Where there is a way or a path, it is someone else's path. You are not on your own path. If you follow someone else's way, you are not going to realize your potential." - Joseph Campbell
