How Can Human Design Help You?

I want to try and convey why I am inspired by Human Design and give you a deeper understanding of why it can be so powerful. As I begin to write this, I can feel this ball of energy that is very clear (to me) and also hard to describe. So this is me articulating what I am feeling. I have been working with others formally since 2006 as a life coach. I also feel like I started coaching long before that in my career. Since then, I have also worked in various roles and jobs. In recent years I have been working in the field of addiction. I have always had an intrinsic desire to help people realize who they really are and to gain an understanding of what that means.

A Little Woo-Woo

Let's start with getting a little woo-woo. I believe when we enter this life, we are as close to our wholeness as we have ever been. We have a deep connection to our gifts and purpose, and our light shines brightly. I believe we can see that light when looking into the eyes of a baby. Then as we start to experience life, this light slowly begins to dim. But here is the thing. I also believe that we are here to experience what it means to be human. While at the same time slowly being called back to our light. At some point along that journey, we become called to wake up to this truth and do the work to get back to who we were when we arrived. Unfortunately, this can be a confronting and painful process. As a coach, I often play detective and reflect my observations to my clients. It can be hard to see ourselves accurately, which is why these observations can be helpful. I would also use my intuition to help guide clients back to themselves.

Enter Human Design

As I continue to offer readings and learn about Human Design, I have noticed that the information brings clarity to clients very quickly. I hear things like: "wow, that is totally me." or "I've always felt that." or "I've never been able to give myself permission to be that way." My excitement shows up here because I get to be more of a guide and less of a detective. (although I do enjoy being a detective differently). There is also deeper magic at work; seeing your chart activates something within you.

A quick story. I recently shared a chart with someone; shortly after that, the person revealed an awareness of the work they wanted to do in the world. As they shared their passion for this idea, I was amazed that the gates in her chart revealed all the ways of being that would benefit her clients in this work. In other words, her gifts were already there.

In Closing

Human Design reveals how we are each designed to live our best life. (a cool side note...your design is activated approximately three months before your actual birth). Your design also reveals how you were designed to experience being human. The power of a reading is that it brings understanding to the journey you have had and reveals your gifts and superpowers.
