I have always loved this quote from my friend:
"You don't get extra points for doing it alone" (Lynda Austin) For me it is a reminder of how important and nourishing it can be to connect with and be seen by others. In the work that I do, I see the power of sharing in a group every day. We can't see ourselves accurately so sharing in a group allows us to see our reflection in others. Groups (even virtually) can be a great place to experience deep learning and connection, which can quickly outweigh any fears and reservations. Witnessing others and being witnessed, while we learn and grow can be a magical experience as well as the fast track to awareness. Outline:
